Conneaut School District issued the following announcement.
The decision has been made to CLOSE both the Conneaut Lake Attendance Area school buildings and the High School... starting Friday, November 13, 2020 through Monday, November 30, 2020..
Due to the rapidly increasing cases of COVID-19 in our Lake Attendance Area and High School, we are closing CONNEAUT LAKE ELEMENTARY, CONNEAUT LAKE MIDDLE SCHOOL, AND CONNEAUT AREA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL starting Friday, November 13, 2020 through Monday, November 30th, 2020 and instruction will occur through packets and online for those three school buildings.
School will resume for these buildings on Tuesday, December 1 which will be a “B” day for students as we restart our ABABC schedule.
At this time, both CONNEAUT VALLEY schools will remain open utilizing the ABABC schedule. We have not had increasing cases of COVID-19 at either CONNEAUT VALLEY SCHOOL.
Please keep wearing masks, social distance from others and washing your hands.
