Zabawa celebrates Polish heritage
Holy Trinity Parish in Erie will host Zabawa, a three-day celebration of its Polish heritage, on the parish grounds at E. 23rd and Reed streets Aug. 26-28. Festivities include authentic Polish foods, bakery items and beverages, live polka music and dancing. A Polka Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Aug. 27, at 5 p.m. with Bishop Lawrence Persico officiating. A Polish heritage Mass featuring the Holy Trinity choir is scheduled for Aug. 28 at 10:30 a.m. There will be a grand raffle, theme baskets, a festival auction and more.
