Parish examines Catholic culture with beer book

When: Sunday, May 22, 2022

A study and discussion series on the book The Beer Option: Brewing a Catholic Culture, Yesterday & Today (by R. Jared Staudt) will be held in the St. Anthony Room at St. Boniface Parish, 9367 Wattsburg Road, Erie, beginning this month and continuing through the end of June. The series will address how Catholic culture and the brewing of beer may open new avenues of understanding our Catholic culture into the future. All sessions begin at noon and are open to anyone 21 and older. St. Boniface’s own parish-brewed beer will be available for refreshment and conversation. The schedule is as follows:

May 22 — Introduction, history and author video interview

May 29 — Beer and culture

June 12 — Experiencing beer with beer-tasting
