PENNCREST SCHOOL DISTRICT: Effective Friday October 9, 2020

Penncrest School District issued the following announcement.

Due to the Governor's recent announcementPDF download PENNCREST School District is permitted to adjust venue capacities for athletics. Based on the new order we can return to the guidelines from Dr. Glasspool's September 23, 2020 update.  This becomes effective Friday October 9, 2020.Guidelines for Fall Sports 

Indoor Competitions 

Girls’ Volleyball 

Junior High Girls’ Basketball 

  • Gym is limited to 2 teams 
  • Essential game workers, board approved coaches and athletes 
  • 2 spectators per participant for both home and away teams 
  • The gym is not permitted above 20% spectator capacity 
Outdoor Competitions 

Varsity Football 

  • Essential game workers 
  • Board approved coaches 
  • Participants 
    • Athletes 
    • Cheerleaders 
    • Band members 
  • Home team participants will receive 4 admission tickets 
  • Away team will receive 50 admission tickets 
  • The stadium is not permitted above 25% spectator capacity 
 Girls’ and Boys’ Soccer 

Girls’ and Boys’ Cross Country 

JV & Junior High Football 

  • Essential game workers 
  • Board approved coaches 
  • Athletes 
  • Spectators permitted, capacity not to exceed 250 persons 
 *Concessions, raffle tickets, or selling of merchandise is not permitted at any 2020 fall sporting event. 

 **Admission is free for all fall sports. 

 ***PENNCREST spectators should not expect admission to athletic competitions outside of the district. 

****Venues must require attendees to comply with six-foot social distancing requirements, to wear masks or face coverings in compliance with the Order of the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Health Requiring Universal Face Coverings.
