Transcendence is offering a free concert at 7 pm on Saturday, Dec. 17, at St. Peter Cathedral, 230 W. 10 Street, Erie. The concert, entitled “The Essence of Christmas,” will feature a variety of Christmas choral works by renowned composers as well as Kirke Mechem’s, The Seven Joys of Christmas, featuring special guest artist Julia Jamieson, harpist. Dr. Richard Robert Rossi, conductor and composer, will also present a world premiere of his most recent composition, O Magnum Mysterium (Oh Wondrous Mystery).
