The undergraduate admissions office invites you and your family to an open house which offers unique experiences depending on where you are at in the college search process. Every open house is strategically different to offer more detailed information as the year progresses. See below for types of Open Houses offered this academic year:
Traditional Open House on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 11 a.m.
This visit will include an admissions presentation along with a full tour of campus designed for the high school student looking for an introduction to Alvernia University and the college-search experience.
Fall Visit Day on Monday, Oct. 10 at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
This visit will include a general admissions presentation along with a campus tour designed for a quick introduction to Alvernia University.
Four College Day on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 12 p.m.
This is a visit designed to showcase an interactive experience with faculty, current students, and alumni. Meeting with faculty will provide program-specific information and a glimpse into the future of your program at the university. This is a great chance for students to learn more about the academic potential within their major.
Fall Packapalooza on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 8 a.m.
Begin your visit to campus with a one-on-one faculty appointment, schedule with a member from your program. Enjoy lunch in our campus dining hall as you take in more of the campus. Then, starting at 1:00pm, a call will go out for conference-style workshops covering topics such as “choosing a major”, “the honors program”, “the student-athlete experience”, and “career development”. Pick and choose the seminar blocks that are most appealing to you and your interest to see what your potential future looks like at Alvernia.
