KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
New dates have been set to register your child for the 2020-2021 Kindergarten Class in the Crawford Central School District.
You are welcome to register at any of the three buildings below.
Tuesday, June 23 at Cochranton Elem. from 7:30-3:30
Thursday, June 25 at East End Elem. from 1:00-7:00
Monday, June 29 at Second Dist. Elem. from 7:30-3:30
Your child must be five (5) years old before September 1, 2020, to register. At the time of registration, you must provide proof of residency. The child’s original birth certificate or hospital verification must be presented at time of registration. If a birth certificate is not available, forms for obtaining one for Pennsylvania born students may be obtained at the Crawford Central School Administration Office.
If hospital verification is used, the child’s birth certificate must be on file in the school prior to entrance in the fall. No tests are given to children on the day of registration.
State law requires every child entering school for the first time to have immunizations. Please call your physician or the Pennsylvania Department of Health (332-6947) to arrange an appointment for required immunizations.
The Crawford Central School District requires any student enrolling in the school district for the first time to have ALL mandated immunizations that are allowable at the time of entry (applicable to Crawford Central School District Policy No. 203.)
If immunization cannot be given because of medical reasons, a statement from a physician will be necessary and should be taken to registration. A record of the child’s immunization and medical history should be available for the school nurse at registration.
