Lenten Vespers

St. Catherine of Siena Parish in DuBois is hosting Lenten Vespers with prayer, song, Scripture and guest speakers on Feb 26 and on March 5, 12, 19 and 26 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 118 South State St., DuBois. All are welcome. Funding for this series is made provided through the grant from the Catholic Foundation of Northwestern Pennsylvania.

Fire and emergency medical service organizations in Pennsylvania’s 65th Legislative District will receive a total of $543,382 in state grants.
More than $364,500 in grant funding has been allocated to fire companies and emergency medical services in Pennsylvania’s 64th District, according to Rep. Lee James (R-Venango/Crawford).
On Tuesday, Governor Josh Shapiro presented his state budget address, proposing a $53.26 billion budget for Pennsylvania’s 2026-27 fiscal year, marking a 5.4% increase in spending compared to the current year.
